Mahogany Bezel

While the boat was in the shop running out of things to do I came up with this part. Being the deck will be a natural finish and the console and deck will all be the same piece I thought the Teleflex part would look like crap. Two pieces of 3/4 mahogany stock were cut into the same shape as the teleflex part on the left. Once they were cut out I screwed them together to get them the exact diameter. Flipped the part over and using my detail sander set at 35deg I came up with the same shape.
