Wood flour color matching toward red not black

A batch of filler is mixed for bonding on the trim, after the rail and trim have already been precoated and is still wet. I mixed mahogany wood flour and doug fir wood flour to get the red color instead of the dark black of straight mahogany. It seemed a good match for the small fillets holding the ipe trim on.
