Port Mid Caprail 01

Four views show the final test fitting of the port Mid Caprail to the top of the sheer. The plans do not specify this caprail, nor do they specify the additional two inner layers of *clamp*. Because I have detachable add-ons mounted to the inside hull, I wanted to stiffen up these upper structures to handle the add-ons' loads. The boat is plenty strong with a build per the plans. Completing the sheer is simpler and quicker without the ad-ons. Rewards of Mods cost time, thought, and material expense.
