Constructing the handhold mounts

1st- Shape the laminated base to the caprail for a near plumb installation. mark and Predrill 1/4 inch dowel holes in base. 2nd- Line up the base on caprail and extend drill into caprail only 1/4 inch (mark bit with tape). You can see all 4 holes now in caprail. 3rd- Handle fits snug and secure! 4th- now fit rough cut top on the base and extend drill dowel holes 1/4 into top, drilling from the bottom up. Then dowels and top are bonded to base before next rough shaping with belt sander.
