CB Slot Cap - weighing down the temp 5 minute epoxy tacking

The cap is pushed down on this mount, and into the two drops of 5 minute epoxy, with minimal sliding around, just enough to line up the cap perfectly on the top of the slot opening. Aligned front and back... side to side... and a suitable handy weight then holds it in place for about 20 minutes for a sufficient 5 minute epoxy *set*. No worries, I sat there and watched it... it was rock steady.
