In the garage, with the form secure and 2x4's to keep the edges straight, a weight is used to pull the front of the cuddy top to the proper shape. This jig only took 20 minutes to rig up, but it helped establish the top curve while off the boat, for prefinishing and relatively troublefree installation after painting is completed. Who wants to crawl in the cuddy to work???
