Upper Mast Step plate ready to bond

The lower portion is finished with Epoxy with Teflon additive in the water drainage slots, wet sanded with 600. Sm-o-o-o-th and slick. Water runs right out. The final upper plate is ready to bond in. Note the small dowel holes which have matching dowels in the underside... self aligning for the install. Filler glue is applied sparingly to the bottom only, and 1/4 inch clear of the drainage areas so filler putty does not ooze into the drainage areas. Inspection afterwards showed success.
