Test fit of outboard rear cleat
|
This cleat has hardly any curve in it. It needed to be sawn and then ground to fit the curve of the filleted chine seam as it gets closer to the transom. I could have ground it all, but sawing was faster and only needed a slight touchup with the grinder to get it to fit close enough for the gap filling properties of epoxy, without using too much epoxy.
