Good enough fit aft
|
Normally I did not like to leave such a sloppy fit on a structure, but again, there is nothing wrong with taking advantage of epoxy's gap filling properties, to a point, or it gets too expensive for all the epoxy needed to fill huge gaps! Epoxy's characteristics do not need to be an excuse for a poor fit. It really isn't all that dificult to get a sufficiently mediocre fit for the epoxy bond. And not that much more effort to make it a good fit.
