Not quite straight...

Drilling the holes so they point in the right direction is tricky, as the side of the canoe is at such an angle. I didn't quite get it right on any of the four tries. So a bunch more grinding with the rasp bit, and then there'll be some good gaps to fill back in with epoxy.
