Phantom 22 Strake Pronlem
After crusing the bay of the rough waters at Naggs Head, N.C. we noticed that the forward end of the port side outer strake started to separate from the hull leaving a 1/4" gap as shown in the picture.  The strakes were cemented to the hull during construction, covered with 6 ounce woven fiberglass, primed and painted.  We feel that the waves pounding against the hull as the bow rose up and down caused the problem.  None of the other strakes suffered any damage.
