The jig is up
The 2x4 strongbacks are screwed tighlty together with 20 inches between the outside faces, like the plans suggest. The molds are screwed to the 2x4 uprights and the uprights are clamped to the strongback. After many tweaks getting the frames squared I screwed the uprights into the strongback. The transom and forward bow mold are screwed directly to the strongbacks.
