Sharp blade needed for the trimming as paint cures
|
As the paint cures more, the light scoring is not enough, and more pressure is needed, or going back over strips that don't want to let go. Pull hard on these and again it begins to lift off the primer. Another couple days and it is much harder to cut, but less likely to lift. Now is the time to cut and finish up. After one stretch of RR trim, the blade, though it doesn't look it, is dulled enough to bring a new one to the game. Bright trim looks nice, but if not bolted into place, razor trimming.
