Base white coat done - needs wet sand and trim color
|
Three coats of white (ran out!), and three coats clear. Mahoghany trimmed up. No brush marks. A few runs that will get sanded out. I used three coats of clear now to have something to sand down. 90F and you get orange peel. The bucket of ice made this possible, else it would have been much worse. Again, spraying outdoors with bugs, you work within reasonable expectations and adapt the technique. It would be fortunate to get perfect conditions, no bugs and get a showroom finish, but no sense loosing sleep over that if the weather isn't perfect. I razor bladed off about 75 bugs (small), and next will be sanding out runs.
