Three laminations of 1/4"

Mahogany rub rail. Why? Cause I had a chunk that was 2" x 7" x 17ft. It's been laying outside gathering mold so I planed it down, straightend it (had a 3" crown) and cut it into 1/4" strips. Kinda concerned about it getting dinged since it's not a very hard wood. Haven't decided if I will leave it bright or just paint it.
