Tabernacle face plate inside sealed and glassed
|
The inside of the face place gets a seal coat also, and the D Fir gets 6 oz glass. When this is all cured and trimmed and scratched up with 80 grit, the pivoting mast step assembly gets bonded to it. Those marked squares get cut out with nice rounded inner corners. They give access to the inner *safety* pins that hold the mast step in, and create a handle to grip if for some reason things get stuck from swelling (not likely).
