Caprail groove for draining deck

I made the decision and went brrrrrr'ing with the Dremel and put these grooves in the caprails to drain the water from the Foredeck. After to some fine tweaking of the groove up and around unto the deck, water now immediately flows down the corner of the deck and right over this groove. I hope the topsides will not stain too much from the run off, but the puddle on the deck corner was unacceptably large. Funny how first the grind looked bad, then it looked good!
