The sprit. The black is a bit of carbon fibre that was lying around..it doesn't do anything for the stength really as it is wrapped around and not longitidunal. The window cutouts are rectangular (to make sealing easier. I will however cover them with tinted lexan shaped as per the drawings, which gives the AD16 a distinctive look that will be recognized from far. The solar panel will probably be placed on top of the front hatch, which will provide access to the anchor locker as well as the spinaker chute.
