Mast head trial positioning for halyard clearance test

I haven't banged the Masthead into place yet, but just enough to run the mains'l halyard to a prospective cleat location, to make sure it clears the tangs on the way down. Misses the fore tang by an eigth of an inch. Good enough for me. Problem now is the cleat location is right where the bail ought to go for a vang. I don't want the cleats too high, but they must be above the removeable deckboards that are level with the seat tops, so I'm working that out now, while terminating the shroud ends for a ma
