Tabernacle pivot assembly - 8 pieces now marked and ready for curve cuts
I finish marking all the pieces. Because they are 1x3's, with an actual thickness of only 3/4 inch, it will be very easy to cut out the curve without fear of excessive vertical blade wandering in the jigsaw during the cut. I almost bought a scroll saw to do these cuts, but where would I put it? How many pivot assemblies do I plan to make? How far could I go with my 4x4 Merc outboard with the gas that the saved money could buy? so Instead, off I go to get a narrow tight curve blade or two for the jigsaw, for tonight.
