Drilled filed and sand prepped and ready
Stbd rubrail is sand prepped and existing trim is also roughed up for the bond to the remaining trim. Again, note the depth angle on the already bonded trim. After doing a test fit of the dowels, I had to very slightly file out the drilled holes so the dowels would fit well, not be too loose, nor too tight. Why? Because of the grain direction of them. Recall, they were not drilled out (the plugs), with best structural strength in mind. Therefore, I didn't want them snapping in the middle of bonding.
